This standard was established in EU Regulation 910/2014 of July 23, 2014 on electronic identification and repeals Regulation 1999/93/EC of December 13, 1999. The eIDAS regulation has been applicable throughout the EU since July 1, 2016.
Trust services covered by eIDAS include:

- Advanced and qualified electronic signatures associated with a legal entity or natural person;
- Advanced and qualified electronic stamps associated with a legal entity;
- Qualified validation for qualified electronic signatures and stamps;
- Qualified storage of qualified electronic signatures and stamps;
- Time stamping ;
- Electronic delivery services;
- Website authentication.
The aim of having qualified and trusted services is to increase confidence in the use of electronic transactions through mechanisms - such as verifying the identity of individuals and businesses online, or checking the authenticity of electronic data - that are more present in our activities today.
Companies that have been qualified to eIDAS standards for their services are known as Trust Service Providers (TSPs).
Our business, and that of LSTI Worldwide, is to audit and evaluate companies providing the above-mentioned services. Based on the results of their audit, a company can be qualified as a Trust Service Provider and awarded a certificate proving its reliability and the quality of its services.
All LSTI Group customers assessed and qualified as TSPs can be found on our online register, or on request via the contact form.
