Infocert Liveness achieves Substantial level in biometric detection (PAD/IAD).
Demonstration of the InfoCert R&D team's unique know-how in meeting the requirements defined in these standards for liveness detection systems.
The ability to perform vivacity detection at this level provides a high level of confidence in the ability of InfoCert (Tinexta Group) to perform identity verification with a good level of assurance. This step is a clear signal that Europe can be at the forefront of biometric security and promote it on a global scale. The collaboration between QTSPs, CABs, laboratories and technologies demonstrates that the European ecosystem is ready to meet the challenges ahead in biometric security, remote identity verification and, more generally, the issuance of secure electronic wallets and attribute-qualified electronic credentials.
A first step towards ETSI 119 461 compliance
Drawing on extensive expertise in digital trust and compliance. "We are proud to have obtained the substantial LoIP for activity detection, this demonstrates our commitment to preparing for the extended LoIP as defined in the new ETSI TS 119 461 V2.1.1 published in February 2025," said Fabrizio Leoni, Head of Service Innovation, R&D and Open Innovation at InfoCert (Tinexta Group).
"Infocert Liveness becomes the first liveness detection solution to obtain a certificate of compliance for both presentation attack detection and injection attack detection at the substantial level. We are honored that InfoCert has chosen CLR Cert, the department of Cabinet Louis Reynaud - CLR Labs in charge of compliance certification", said Christian CROLL, Director of CLR Cert.
"This conformity assessment program enables the European cyber ecosystem to acquire the necessary capabilities to assess and certify biometric products, including the detection of presentation attacks, with a "made in Europe" label, thus promoting European excellence in cybersecurity," said Julien Bruant, Managing Director of LSTI.
