1.2 - Some definitions
Personal data
Personal data is "any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person". A natural person may be identified directly (by surname, first name) or indirectly (by identifier).
Processing of personal data
The processing of personal data is "an operation, or set of operations, relating to personal data, regardless of the process used (collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation, modification, retrieval, consultation, use, communication by transmission or dissemination or any other form of making available, alignment)". Processing may be computerized or paper-based.

2 - OUR RGPD COMPLIANCE
2.1 - Governance
LSTI's privacy management system is supervised by the DPO, who reports to the Apave Group General Secretariat.
The DPO coordinates compliance in each Group entity with the help of DPO Correspondents for each legal entity and Apave delegates. The DPO Correspondents are appointed by each General Manager and play an active role in ensuring the compliance of their reporting entity through the Privacy Management System and the monitoring of action plans. DPO Correspondents liaise with the Group DPO to ensure strategic alignment and effectiveness of global data protection and privacy compliance.
2.2 - Awareness and training plan
Awareness-raising and training for all LSTI employees is managed at Apave Group level and is a key element of the Privacy Protection Management System. Each year, an awareness-raising and training plan is drawn up with these objectives in mind:
- Improving knowledge to reduce risks and apply best practices
- Development of a security culture
- Compliance with personal data protection obligations.
To this end, a variety of communication tools are employed to achieve a real multi-channel impact: e-learning training courses for employees and managers, phishing simulation campaigns, intranet communication, awareness-raising in small groups, etc.
These communications, which can be national or international in scope, highlight the possible risks to LSTI's Information System. They also provide information on how to remedy these risks in the event of an incident, and above all on the simple methodologies to be applied to ensure the protection of personal data.

3.6 Privacy by design and by default
The Apave Group's project methodology includes an initial summary analysis of data protection impacts for all new projects. This first step ensures our responsibility. In line with the notion of accountability presented by the RGPD, the Apave Group undertakes, beyond its compliance, to be able to prove this compliance as well as the implementation of the processes necessary to control personal data. This means applying two key principles:
- Protecting data from the outset of a project (privacy by design)
- Protection of data taken into account by default (privacy by default).
Where necessary, a data protection impact analysis (DPIA) is carried out in greater depth. This analysis will make it possible to build a processing operation that complies with the RGPD and respects privacy. Recourse to this type of risk analysis is only made when a processing operation is likely to give rise to a high risk for the rights of your data as well as for the freedoms of the data subjects, taking into account the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing operation.
